About Cadre

Why a library
A useful agent starts with a clear job. The library separates roles that serve customers, make or prepare decisions, monitor risk, move money, maintain records and provide independent challenge. It also shows where one role stops and another owner begins.
What a role page contains
Each page names the responsibility, decision authority, systems involved, context needed, checks to test and handoffs to other roles. An illustrative workflow makes the starting point and resulting work product concrete.
Examples
Some roles link to an implemented Cadre example. Those pages add a decision contract, supplied cases, evaluation checks, recorded outcomes and a named human owner so the design can be inspected in more depth.
Work between roles
Handoffs identify the next owner, the capability requested and the work product returned. The same structure applies when work moves within a desk, across a line of defense or between a principal and a provider in another firm.
